Chelsea Clinton has been a political figure, by default, for the whole of her life.

With a Presidential father and a First Lady, Senate member and Secretary of State as a mother, Chelsea has been in the limelight continually.

However, Chelsea has rarely weighed in on the the daily discourse of politics, as The Washington Post points out.

Even in her speeches as an advocate for her mother's presidency, Chelsea erred on the side of personal, making veiled criticisms of Trump's campaign.

However, times have changed, and Chelsea has recently become very vocal against the Trump administration.

She has already had a stand-off with Kellyanne Conway's comments on the fictional Bowling Green Massacre.

She has also been incredibly vocal about Trump's 'Muslim Ban'.

And the ongoing threat of women's reproductive rights in the US and aroung the world under Trump's presidency.

As well as generally damning Trump's first weeks in office.

Chelsea is showing us that Trump has ushered in a new era, one in which we need to speak out.
