Remember back in November when we lost our minds over the fact Kanye West and Drake were on the cusp of releasing new music together?

Well, it might be time to put that excitement on hold for a while as Drake has gone and insulted the rapper/producer again and, this time, it got personal.

Well, more personal than the last time.

During a recent concert in Copenhagen, the performer shocked fans when he donned a Yeezy mask mid-performance and said: 'I got the Yeezy mask on now. You're not gonna f**k with me tonight now!'

The 30-year-old's snub at the star comes weeks after he hit back at Yeezy claiming his music was being 'overplayed' on the radio, last year.

In an interview with DJ Semtex on OVO Radio last month, the Canadian-born star admitted he had lost respect for the 39-year-old rapper/producer for the put-down during his Saint Pablo tour – the same tour in which he launched a tirade against Beyoncé and Jay Z and told his fans he would have voted for Donald Trump, if he had voted at all.

Drake explained: 'I think everybody has their own little things going on, I'm not really sure what he's referring to half the time, as in the same breath, I went from being… like working on a project with him, to him sort of publicly sh*tting on me and DJ Khaled for being on the radio too much.'

Erm, where did the sun just go, because all we can see right now is shade? So much shade.

I'm not really sure what he's referring to half the time.

The 'One Dance' singer added: 'But yeah I'm not really sure, everybody's got their own thing going on.

'Again me when I hear that, I just distance myself from it you know, alright if that's what it is, I don't really even understand the point you're trying to make but whatever it is that you're going through, I accept it, I don't respect it at all,' he added.

From that confusing explanation of feelings, we think what Drake is trying to say is that he's not a happy bunny with West, who days before debuted his Yeezy Season 5 collection during New York Fashion Week.

I mean, to be fair, who wouldn't be slightly annoyed with a man who tweets this kind of baloney without irony?

Drake – who has been a subject of conversation in recent weeks due to his blossoming (fake) 'romance' with Jennifer Lopez – also took the opportunity on air to hit out at the Grammy Awards, because of the way they categorise his music.

Despite winning two awards on the night for 'Best Rap Song' and 'Best Rap Sung/Performance', the singer – who skipped the ceremony – said: 'Even though 'Hotline Bling' is not a rap song, the only category they can manage to fit me in is a rap category.

'Maybe because I've rapped in the past or because I'm black. I can't figure out why. I won two awards, but I don't even want them because it just feels weird for some reason,' he concluded.

Anyone else thinking Drake needs a hug and a snuggle on the sofa right now?

We're here for you D-Man.
