You may have noted some odd things about Trump's address yesterday.

Like when he bragged about giving the Dakota Access Pipeline the go-ahead.

When he told people that 'the time for trivial fights is over', when Donald has proven himself to be petty as hell.

When he said that 'education is the civil rights of our time' when, civil rights is the civil rights of our time.

And when he spoke about Harley-Davidson wanting him to ride one of their bikes (ew).

Or when you realised he was actually delivering a coherent and...dare we say it? Presidential speech.

But, you also may have noted that amongst the largely firmly-seated Democratic party, a lot of the women were wearing white.

Back in November, Clinton supporters wore white to the polls.

It was a nod, not only to Hilary's own angelic 'pantsuit', but to the Suffragettes' uniform.

The women of the Democratic party continued this symbolic tradition at Trump's Address to the Nation last night.

By wearing white they made a clear message to Trump- that they weren't going anywhere, and that they were going to keep resisting no matter what.

They did this by this silent protest...and also by enthusiastically giving him a thumbs down.
