The chances of finding a Tinder date who is seriously wealthy, famous or generally elite just got even slimmer.

Though we've known about Raya for quite a while - an app that bills itself as the exclusive preserve of famous people looking to date other famous people, apparently there's now some newer competition in the market.

According to Tech Crunch, people have been using a secret version of the dating platform Tinder called Tinder Select and no, mere mortals can't use it.

The members-only section of the dating app has been designed specifically for movie stars, CEOs and supermodels, and getting access is pretty much impossible.

In order to join, you need to be invited by Tinder, or nominated by existing users who are given a limited number of invites. Although it's unclear how the platform decides who gets to join and who doesn't, being famous helps. One source said it's "for celebrities and people who do really well on Tinder," which gives those users with a very high rating some hope.

Tinder Select comes with its own special design, too. A photo of the secret version shows the traditional orange flame has been replaced with a blue 'S' logo and users are easily able to switch back and forth from regular Tinder to the private dating club whenever it suits.

The world of invite-only Tinder is might be appealing, but for now, the brand is keeping quiet on the subject and has made no comment on Select. Then again, it's likely these high-profile users want this swanky dating service to remain exclusive for as long as possible.
