It's always good to note your successes.

However small, what you do is important, so pat yourself on the back.

If 'you', however, are the Nobel Prize, keep in mind the relative nature of your successes, k?

Yesterday, whilst everyone was spreading the lady love, promoting wins and pointing out failures, the Nobel Prize people posted a big ol' humble-brag for...ummm...giving some prizes to women?

They also pointed out how the amount of women awarded prizes increased as the decades past.

Which is true, they have, but let's have a wee gander at these winner's male counterparts, shall we?

Rrrrright...

This fantabulous (we say yaaaas to the wig) Twitter woman pointed out that at the rate the Nobel Prize was going, it would take a while to attain gender equality.

This woman wasn't the only one to point out the irony that the Prize themselves were one of the gatekeepers in stopping Women gain full equality.

A lot of people were like, WTF?

And our personal favourite.

The Nobel Prize page didn't acknowledge any of these Tweets.

Though they did go on to give us some cool, informative videos about lady-bosses like Marie Curie.

IWD is as much about education as anything, but it's also about noting your failures, as well as your successes.
