Ever since we heard Love Actually was being made into a sequel (okay, so it's a 20-minute sequel for Red Nose Day but it's still a comeback) we've been dusting off our best Hugh Grant shimmy moves, Octopus costumes and Mariah Carey 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' vocals.
Yes, we know it's not Christmas but, by God, we will sing.
And while we're counting down the hours until the film's air date on 24 March – when we will see Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Bill Nighy and Martin McCutcheon grace our screens yet again in what must be one of Britain's most loved RomComs e-v-e-r – our excitement levels just went stratospheric, as it's just been confirmed that model Kate Moss will be making a cameo in the film.
I mean, are you sure it's not Christmas because this film is giving us all the feels right now?
According to WWD, the Croydon-born supermodel will appear in the short film and follow in the runway footsteps of model Claudia Schiffer, who appearing in the first film as Carol – the apple of Daniel's (Liam Neeson) eye after he joked he wanted to brine Schiffer to his wife's funeral as a date.
Unfortunately, it's yet to be confirmed who Moss – who starred in Absolutely Fabulous last year – will play in the sequel, but we can't wait to see her fly the flag for Britain in what is expected to be the best sequel in the history of our beloved nation.
Director/writer Richard Curtis' wife, Emma Freud, has been active on social media posting sneak-peeks of shooting for the sequel and, let's just say, the countdown is well and truly in full swing.
Bring on the Mossy.
