Maggie Gyllenhaal was told that, at 37, she was too old to play a 55-year-old's love interest.

Gabourey Sidibe recently spoke out about her difficulty in finding scripts which don't mention her body.

And Jen Richards has spoken out about missing Trans roles because they are getting played by cis-men (men who identify as men, who were born with male genitalia).

Kal Penn - most famous for his role in Harold & Kumar, but also for his low-key work for Obama (what a CV) - is sharing some of the most offensive and insensitive script notes he's ever gotten.
