What did you do for your sixth birthday? Go to a petting zoo, maybe an ice-rink? Have a princess party?

Well, Armani Crews is the 6-year-old you never were. She eschewed all cowboy themes and ball-pits in favour of a little altruism.

She got her idea from her big bro who gave a homeless man some of his leftover food one morning.

Firstly, let's give a shout out to their mum, Artesha, who has brought up some of the most impeccably mannered and generous babbies ever.

Her mum didn't even take it seriously the first time Armani mentioned it, dismissing her by saying that they could hand out some sandwiches. But Armani wasn't having it and made sure people got the same food she would get for her own birthday.

On top of this, her local community helped out by donating toiletries for care-packages.

On 8th March the Chicago family took to the streets (with Armani wearing a tiara, obvs) and gave 125 people hot meals and care packages.

Artesha spoke to CNN about the day.

It was a beautiful thing to see and a blessing, one man told us that he hadn't had a hot meal in a long time. We take a lot for granted...There are plenty of places in Chicago that need help. If we help each other, we'll be okay

It went down so well they are planning to do it all over again.

We need more people in the world like you Armani, keep it up.
