Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump's neighbours are having a bit of a 'mare at the moment.

Since the political couple have moved in to their $5.5 million house in the affluent suburb of Washington D.C. called Kalorama, there has been something of a three-ring circus.

Despite being walking distance from the Obamas, Clintons and Bidens, it is the Kushner-Trumps who it seems have created the biggest furore.

Stories of four-car convoys for trips to the park and other disruptive activity have been flooding the media.

According to New York Magazine, neighbours such as Rhonda Friedman were angered to find 'No Parking' signs outside of their own houses.

She told the magazine, 'I started screaming' before she emailed and emailed until the signs were removed.

Another neighbour, Marti Robinson told the Washington Post, 'This is the adult child of the president. Sometimes there are 10 cars out here...It is every bit as disruptive as if a very active business was allowed to come into this residential neighborhood.'

Apparently, Secret Service agents stand around, chatting loudly, and even change their shirts on the street.

According to the New York Daily News, 'their staff haven't learned the trash pickup schedule outside their $5.5-million home.'

The Washington Post reached out to the Secret Service, they responded, [the agency] 'makes every effort to collaborate with businesses and residents to minimize disruptions, while simultaneously maintaining the highest level of security for the individuals we are mandated to protect.'

But the neighbours are still pretty miffed.

It is unclear, however, how much the grievances of various these residents have impacted Trump-Kushner daily life.

Another neighbour named Toby Moffet, a Democrat who represented Connecticut in the House, told The Washington Post:

We're just a little story in a cosmic, bigger story, which is the whole Trump phenomenon and how they push their way around,...You have people coming and going. You have three or four, sometimes five, SUVs that are very big and that aren't from the neighbourhood.

The most recent disruption to the quiet lives of Kalorama residences, are the various protests outside of the house.

According to The Hill, hundreds of LGBT activists had a dance party outside of the Trump-Kushner residence to protest climate injustice.

The Facebook page for the protest stated:

It's time to WERK for Mother Earth.Last Tuesday, the Trump administration passed an Executive Order rolling back environmental regulations and slashed funding to the EPA, essentially halting the Federal progress the US has made in slowing the pace of climate change and on promoting clean energy. In response, get ready to shake what your Mamma Earth gave ya and WERK it for climate justice! Thankfully, Ivanka Trump, "BFF of the gays," supposed climate czar, and brand new employee of the Trump Administration has invited us to come and party in her neighborhood, leaving behind biodegradable glitter that will sparkle in the moonlight. It turns out Rex Tillerson, former CEO of Exxon, Sec. of State and Putin's BFF, lives right next door! ...We will surely be joined by Scott Pruitt, the climate denying head of the EPA and by Rick Perry, head of the Dept of Energy, an oil hawk who's a flaming homophobe. They will come in their faux-leather-tight pants, and you should too!The entire Trump Administration has shown a blatant disregard for our planet and it's inhabitants, like paving the way for the Dakota Access Pipeline displacing the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. The reality is that the people most affected by the administration's bad climate decisions are our most vulnerable friends: our poor, working class, native, trans & POC siblings. We must put our bodies on the line for our earth and for all who depend on its resources. Also, in case you hadn't heard, Trump revoked protections for LGBTQ government employees and removed LGBTQ questions from the census--all the more reason to turn out and show that YOU COUNT. It's getting hot in here. So let's WERK.

I mean, isn't that the most fabulous rally cry you have every heard?!

Anyway, the glittery earth warriors did as they intended and whilst some neighbours were not in the partying mood.

About a minute into this video you can watch an elderly neighbour berating a protester quite explicitly.

But the winner of the march was actually Dianne Bruce, who serenely watched over the events, in her furs nonetheless, drinking what we can only assume is a delicious Chardonnay.

Dianne, you are all of us.

Maybe Dianne is even wearing 'Complicit'?

It is unclear as to whether Ivanka and Jared were home at the time, or whether they were watching the chaos from another stoop, also in furs and drinking white wine.
