In just a few weeks time, the Duchess of Cambridge's sister, Pippa Middleton, will walk down the aisle to marry hedge-fund manager, James Matthews, on 20 May at St Mark's Church in Englefield, Berkshire.

As we have just learned from Kensington Palace, Princess Charlotte – who turns two on 2 May – will walk behind Pippa as bridesmaid, while three-year-old Prince George, will act as a page boy on the big day.

However, in the lead up to the nuptials, we can't help but wonder who else will form part of the pair's bridal party for the special occasion, especially following rumours Pippa has enforced a 'no ring, no bring' policy, meaning Prince Harry's girlfriend, Meghan Markle, might be banned from the A-list nuptials.

As a result, we've rounded up exactly who we think will form part of the exclusive wedding party. Sadly, we don't think we'll make the cut.

As we know, Princess Charlotte will serve as bridesmaid for Pippa on the big day.

At the tender age of two, Pippa's choice of a toddler to serve as bridesmaid follows in the tradition of her sister who chose three-year-old Eliza Lopes, the Duchess of Cornwall's granddaughter, as her youngest bridesmaid for her royal wedding.

Known as the boss of the family, we can't wait to see Charlotte taking charge on the big day.

Unfortunately for Kate, it looks like she might not have the opportunity to act as maid of honor for her sister at the wedding – as Pippa did for hers – with concerns the royal might upstage the bride.

Royals author Judy Wade told People: 'It's a tricky situation for Pippa. She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well?'

'But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention. Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible,' she added.

As a result, we have a feeling Kate might be enlisted to do a reading at the wedding, as did her brother James Middleton, for her own wedding in 2011.

Alice St John Webster: Bridesmaid

Having studied at the same school, university and played on the same tennis team as Pippa at Marlborough College, Alice – who is a close friend of William's best friend Guy Pelly and Alicia Fox-Pitt – will undoubtedly play an important role on Pippa's big day.

At Kate's wedding, she was reportedly given a seat in the Statesmen's Aisle (reserved for the royal couple's closest friends) alongside Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs and behind Prince William's ex-girlfriend, Arabella Musgrave.

Camilla Campion-Awwad: Bridesmaid

Campion-Awwad studied English literature with Pippa at Edinburgh university and is said to be a regular visitor to the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire.

Prince George will take up the role as page boy on his Aunt's big day – a role previously bestowed on Billy Lowther-Pinkerton and Tom Pettifer at Kate's wedding.

Billy is the son of Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who has been secretary to Prince William since 2005 and become a very close friend while Tom is William's godson and son of Tiggy Pettifer, née Legge-Bourke who was once personal assistant to the Prince of Wales and also nanny to William.

We only hope Prince George doesn't make the 'L' shape sign on his forehead at the altar on Pippa's big day, as he did to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau last year.

Spencer Matthews: Best man

In the lead up to his brothers' wedding, it appears Spencer has been taking an active role in helping organise the big day, having been spotted on numerous occasions visiting the couple's West London home in recent weeks and having dined with Prince William and Kate and his in-laws.

The former reality star is James' only surviving brother, after the pair's middle brother died in 1999 as he made a bid to become the youngest Brit to climb Everest at the age of 22.

Having shown off his impressive public speaking at his eldest sister's wedding, James may be enlisted as a reader once again for his younger sister's nuptials or a usher to James.

He's already participated in several athletic events with James and Pippa, such as the London to Brighton charity bike ride, and enjoyed numerous holidays with his soon-to-be brother in-law.
