Ever since Barack Obama left the White House earlier this year, we've been somewhat concerned as to what he'll now do with so much time on his hands.

At one point, we thought he might be employed by Spotify as 'president of playlists', make a Simon and Garfunkel-inspired album with former Vice President, Joe Biden, or take a career as a professional wakeboarder, following his competition against Richard Branson on the businessman's private island, Necker.

However, amid rumours the former President is planning to make his return to politics with the new National Democratic Redistricting Committee (which aims to help the Democratic party win back state legislative seats in the 2018 election and beyond), we have a funny feeling he might want to be using his talents elsewhere – on Instagram.

Last week, Twitter user Madeline Hill posted a picture of Barack on holiday in French Polynesia off the Island of Moorea with his wife, Michelle, showing the lawyer posing on a yacht, looking every inch the perfect former First Lady.

In the shot, Michelle can be seen resting her hand on the yacht's railing in that 'oh me? I'm just on a yacht b*tches' kind of way, while her 'Instagram husband' stands at a respectable distance (you've got to get those feet in that portrait shot, after all) taking the photo of his stunning wife.

Since Hill posted the picture, Twitter has gone into official 'meltdown mode'.

Barack, if it all goes tits up with politics the second time round, you've always got a career as an 'Instagram hubby'.
