Sometimes it takes a string of failed romances to find your one and only love in life, and someone who knows a thing or two about searching for 'the one' is a little (average sized) guy named Drake.

In the past year, sweet Drake has endured many a depressing turn in his romantic life.

First there was his failed relationship with Rihanna, after he professed his love for her at the 2016 VMAs and she got a matching shark tattoo in honor of the Canadian star.

Then came the rumours he had started fling with Jennifer Lopez (which we totally called as fake, by the way), following pictures of them snuggling up to each other at New Years Eve and dancing at a party.

But, alas, it was all for show.

And now, with news Drake is set it star in the third season of the London-based Channel 4 crime drama Top Boy, (which he reportedly bought the rights to last year), it seems Champagne Papi has finally come to the realisation that his one true love has been under his nose from the very start.

And, we have a feeling he has the cold British weather to thank.

Behold, Drake's one and only love – the oversized turtleneck jumper.

'Wait, what? Drake can't be in love with a turtleneck!', we hear you protest.

Sadly, my friends, it's the truth. And, to be fair, we should've known all along.

Take the singer's 'Hotline Bling' video for instance.

Now, when most people work up a sweat on the dance floor, they'd want to strip down to their gym kit or put on some elasticated leggings for that extra bit of give.

Drake, however, dons a grey, oversized turtleneck sweater.

Need more proof?

How about his choice of attire in the video for his hit track 'No Frauds' with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.

Now, despite Nicki's controversy in featuring Westminster Bridge in the video, weeks after the London terrorist attack, we can understand why Drake decided to wear a turtleneck sweater for his trip to London.

I mean, it might be April but there's still a nip in the air, am I right D-man?

Just look how toasty he looks.

Okay, so he might look like he's lost a neck but, when you look like Drake, anything goes.

I mean, we should've realised when Bloomberg published a list of turtleneck sweaters to buy in order to look like Drake the 'One Dance' singer was partial to knitwear.

But we didn't think he was having an affair with it!

Ladies and gents, let's face it – who are we to compete with knitwear?

We are but mere mortals in the face of a cashmere jumper.
