Mention the word 'bootcamp' to most people and it will conjure up images of an army colonel screaming orders at officers to crawl under barbed wire, dive through tunnels in muddy water and lift their body weight up a piece of rope.

At it's best, it might involve a former military officer yelling at you to hold the plank position in the middle of the park on a Sunday morning, surrounded by fellow fitness fiends who, like you, wish they'd stayed in bed with a cup of tea and toast, instead.

So, when Emma Watson revealed she'd attended a bootcamp to prepare herself for her role as Belle in Disney's live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, we felt a sudden pang of pity for the 27-year-old.

Of course, it didn't take long for our pity to turn to fangirling jealousy when we found out said bootcamp was, in fact, 'princess bootcamp'.

In an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the British actress admitted: 'I did princess boot camp for three months. It was fun.'

'I got to ride a horse, I got to learn to waltz and then I had singing lessons and then rehearsals,' she revealed.

I did princess boot camp for three months. It was fun.

Er, does this sound like anyone else's childhood (who are we kidding, adulthood) fantasy?

When asked is she could still waltz, the Harry Potter actress replied: 'I could stumble my way through something reasonable.'

Modest, says what?

We're sure the star would dominate the dance floor, given the chance.

Days after her appearance on Fallon's show, the French-born star continued to show off her exquisite fashion taste on her press tour-dedicated Instagram account, where she posted several photos of herself ahead of her appearance at Twitter's headquarters in San Francisco with her The Circle co-stars, Tom Hanks and James James Ponsoldt.

The actress looked stunning in a red top and trouser combination, made by Italian designer, Gabriela Hearst, jewellery from Stockholm-based company, All Blues, and shoes by Manolo Blahnik.

Right, that's it.

Pack your best princess slippers, lace gloves, jewels and tiaras because we're all off to 'Princess Bootcamp'.

Now, that's an order.
