Buckingham Palace has denied rumours there is cause for concern over the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh's health, after an emergency meeting at Buckingham Palace caused Twitter to wildly speculate.

The BBC's royal correspondent, Peter Hunt, said the meeting isn't related to the wellbeing of either the Queen or the Duke.

A mystery meeting was due to take place at Buckingham Palace at 8am today, reportedly to involving all senior staff from across the UK. However, it's since emerged that the meeting was now be held at 10am.

The BBC asserts that such meetings are staged once a year.

Phew, panic over, people.
