When someone asks what your hobbies are, you probably lie and say something about rock-climbing and reading, when in fact, we know your hobbies are day-drinking, looking at your split-ends and watching Netflix.

Some of us like to pop on a little innocuous Gossip Girl (only innocuous due to the fact we've watched the entire series four BILLION times) whilst we 'tidy' our room (fold things and put them in a pile on a chair).

Others like to work off a hangover watching Frank Underwood scheme on House of Cards or Dev being freaking adorable on Master of None.

There's nothing like pre-drinking to Ru Paul's Drag Race, nor coming home to drunkenly fall asleep to a Louis Theroux documentary.

In fact, what is life without our favourite streaming site Netflix?

Well, Netflix is onto us. Oh boy are they onto us. Just when they've got us hooked on the good stuff they are going to hike up the price. Those scheming buggers…

According the The Australian, Netflix is trialling a price hike this weekend.

The folks from Netflix told us that yes, it is happening, in a small control group in Australia. Though it doesn't necessarily mean it will be rolled out to Netflix's other regions. But they would say that, wouldn't they...

They explained:

We continuously test new things at Netflix and these tests typically vary in length of time. In this case, we are testing slightly different price points to better understand how consumers value Netflix. Not everyone will see this test and we may not ever offer it generally.

So far what it looks like is different prices to see how consumers value Netflix, which we reckon means a price hike is coming.

Because we value Netflix a lot...maybe too much.

Remember how terrible 2016 was? Well 2017 will be a whole lot worse when we are having to remortgage to get our fix of The Crown.

Or, at least, the person who actually pays for your Netflix account (thanks mum).
