Many of us have stared in disbelief as Kellyanne Conway defended Donald Trump on his election bid.

The 50-year-old current counselor to the President was campaign manager during Trump's race to the election, against democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

She had a pretty rough road when it came to being the public face of much of Trump's tumultuous journey.

She had to answer for a whole host of questions people had for Trump, for example whether he thought (and thinks) climate change is a hoax:

In fact, she has had to answer for a lot of Trump's questionable Tweets:

In fact, anti-Conway sentiment reached fever-pitch after she famously debated Trump's inauguration crowd size, suggesting inflated numbers given by Sean Spicer (the Press Secretary) were not lies, but 'alternative facts':

And many of us wondered whether even she was buying what she was pedaling.

Well, the hosts of MSNBC'S show Morning Joe might just have given us a clue as to whether Conway was much of a fan as she touted.

Mika Brzezinski (one of the hosts) reportedly said during the Monday broadcast that Conway would complain about the task of supporting Trump once she off-air.

'She would get off the air, the camera would be turned off, the microphone would be taken off, and she would say "Blech, I need to take a shower", because she disliked her candidate so much,' Brzezinski said of Conway.

Likewise, the co-host Joe Scarborough echoed Brzezinski's sentiment saying that Conway was only fiscally motivated when it came to defending the President-elect.

Brzezinski continued, 'I guess she's just used to it now,' referring to how Conway probably felt getting paid to go against her beliefs.

Conway has already responded to their comments via her Twitter account with this statement:

The hosts of 'Morning Joe' have become extremely vocal opponents of Conway, and have publicly said, multiple times, that they refuse to have her on their show, and have urged other shows, like CNN, to follow suit.

Who knows whether these statements are true, and even if they are, could Conway maybe disagree with Trump personally, but perhaps still back his politics?

Who knows, but it sure is good gossip.
