When you're training to be a Princess, one would assume you'd be keen to prioritise learning the art of waving, curtseying, practicing to say 'ma'am' like 'ham' not 'ma'am' like 'palm' to the Queen.

However, days after attending Pippa Middleton's wedding and making her first public outing with Prince Harry at the the Audi Polo Challenge in Ascot, Berkshire earlier this month, it appears Meghan Markle has another royal tradition she's eager to learn – how to play polo.

Amid rumors the Suits actress is planning to move in with her boyfriend at his home in Kensington Palace this summer, former England polo player and friend of the prince, Malcolm Borwick, has revealed the 35-year-old star has developed a new-found interest in the sport.

'I met Meghan the other day for the first time – she's a really, really nice person,' he recently told the Sun.

'She's not a polo player, but she's very keen to learn and I've offered to teach her,' he added.

I mean, if you're going to learn how to play polo, you're best off learning from he best, right?

However the polo expert pointed our Markle's interest in polo might not go down too well with the bosses over at Suits.

'Contractually some actors are not allowed to play. A bad day at work can result in a serious injury. It's a very dangerous sport,' he added.

On second thoughts, we might just want to watch Prince Harry and Prince William play polo from the sidelines while holding a glass of bubbly.

However, while Markle might have an interest in taking up the royal-loved sport, she won't be seeing Kate Middleton near a horse anytime soon, as the Duchess of Cambridge doesn't ride due to her lack of horse riding lessons as a child, unlike her daughter, Princess Charlotte, who can't get enough of the sport.

With a love of cooking Sundays roasts and having shown an interest for polo, we must say Markle appears to be getting the hang of English culture pretty darn well.
