Be it a girl asking you to follow for 'good time' or some dude showing off his gross cars - take a wrong turn on Instagram and you could find yourself looking at some dark stuff. There are certain corners of the app we don't like frequenting too much.

However, somewhere in-between the wholesome meme accounts and body-positive posts we do adore, lies the world of Instagram Kittens.

In particular, 'kittenxlady' aka Hannah Shaw, the woman on a mission to care for kittens, no matter the circumstance.

And if you thought this was just an account full of photos of kittens looking blimmin' cute then you're … actually pretty spot on.

You also, however, learn of heart-wrenching tails (couldn't resist) of fortitude from tiny feline furballs.

Not convinced? Maybe you consider yourself a *gulp* dog person? Well, let us introduce you to Chloe.

Chloe is the 6 week-old kitten rescued on May 19th that will melt your cold, cynical heart.

She has rear-leg paralysis from suspected abuse and a face that you want to kiss.

Keeping her 398k fans on Instagram updated, we learnt what the yet unnamed Chloe loves chin scratches.

The next day we learnt some horrible truths about Chloe's condition, like she was probably stepped on and was close to death due to her inability to urininate.

Thankfully Shaw has given Chloe some TLC in the shape of an alpaca. Look at her silent mews!

Shaw then learns that Chloe is more likely to be able to move properly on a grippy surface, so she puts yoga mats down.

Shaw then puts her through some acupuncture. Baby kitten acupuncture, people! And it works. Oh, it works.

If you're not crying by now you are quite possibly dead inside.

Other therapies also meant she began to regain partial use of her bladder, which doctors said was impossible.

Even her seeing her wee is too cute.

And then, before you die from love, she gets a frickin' cat wheelchair.

What an emotional rollercoaster

If only we all had a little more of Hannah's compassion and Chloe's strength, the world would be a better place.
