Prince Harry has made a 97-year-old's soggy wait in the torrential rain well worth it, as he leaned in for a cheeky kiss during his official visit in Sydney, Australia.

Yesterday, the 32-year-old royal went beyond royal protocol to give royal fan Daphne Dunne a peck on the cheek - which is reportedly the second kiss she's stolen from Harry during a royal visit (via The Telegraph).

Jealous, much?

Despite the downpour and thunderstorms, Harry shook hands and greeted well-wishers during his walkabout while promoting his Invictus Games Down Under.

The fifth-in-line to the throne is founder and patron of the games, which is an international Paralympic-style, multi-sport event for injured military personnel and veterans.

During his trip to the country, Harry also paid tribute to the victims of the recent London and Manchester terror attacks during the games' launch ceremony, saying (via The Telegraph): 'Can I start by also sending my thoughts to those affected by Saturday's attack in London Bridge.

'Australians form an important and vibrant part of the fabric of life in London and we are reminded of that in good times and bad. Our hearts go out to the victims, their friends and families.

'In these challenging times, we can all benefit from positive and inspiring stories from which to draw strength.

'The Invictus Games shows us that it is possible to overcome adversity, and that the impossible is possible, if you have the will.

'This spirit, championed by the games, extends far beyond the competition; when a bomb left a number of people with life-changing injuries in Manchester last month, wounded veterans, including Invictus team members, immediately offered themselves up to provide advice and support to the victims through their recovery process,' he added.

Meanwhile Dunne - who had received a kiss from Harry back in 2015 during his attachment with the Australian Defence Force - spoke highly of the friendly royal as she told reporters: 'He kissed me on the other cheek this time.

'He really is a lovely young and he's warm and genuine and really cares about the injured servicemen and women, he's doing a fantastic job supporting them,' she added.

While the royal might currently be dating Suits actress, Meghan Markle, and rumoured to be moving in with the star, we have a feeling she might let her boyfriend off the hook with his latest public display of affection.
