As many a Taylor Swift fan will know, there's nothing worse than getting ready for a Saturday night out, whacking on Spotify as you sit down to apply your makeup, only to remember the 27-year-old removed all of her music from all streaming services in 2014.

At the time, Swifty explained her decision to leave services such as Spotify and Pandora in an interview with Time magazine, revealing: 'I'm always up for trying something. And I tried it and I didn't like the way it felt. I think there should be an inherent value placed on art.

'I didn't see that happening, perception-wise, when I put my music on Spotify. Everybody's complaining about how music sales are shrinking, but nobody's changing the way they're doing things. They keep running towards streaming, which is, for the most part, what has been shrinking the numbers of paid album sales,' she added.

Well, it appears the songstress has just done a complete 180, with her representative now confirming her entire catalog will return to all streaming platforms today (Friday 9 June).

Her official Instagram fan account, Taylor Nation, published the news, announcing: 'In celebration of 1989 selling over 10 Million Albums Worldwide and the RIAA's 100 Million Song Certification announcement, Taylor wants to thank her fans by making her entire back catalog available to all streaming services tonight at midnight.'

'Hallelujah', you cry.

However, one woman who might not be jumping for joy right now is Taylor Swift's rumoured frenemy (who are we kidding, these two are just enemies) as the Nashville-born star's return to streaming services just so happens to fall on the same day Katy Perry has released her latest album, Witness.

Coincidence? We think not.

After all, the move occurred just hours after Katy made headlines for her latest comments about Taylor's hit 2015 single, 'Bad Blood', which was rumoured to be based on the feud between the pair.

Katy told NME: 'I wish that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I'm also not a pushover, you know?

'Especially when someone tries to assassinate my character with little girls [her fans]. That's so messed up!' she added.

Sh*t is going down, people.
