The jig on wooden floor boards in third class. The bite of a bread roll and swig of champagne at dinner. The sweaty hand on the car window. The rip of a frozen, handcuffed hand as Rose fights for her life.
You need only close your eyes to remember the first time you sat down to watch the 1998 romantic blockbuster. Not only was it a mega cinematic feat, the film taught us the importance of breaking down socioeconomic barriers, trusting your heart and not being blasé about icebergs. Or, very importantly, to not be the idiot who throws 'the heart of the ocean' onto the sea.
Yeah, old Rose, we're looking at you. That necklace could've bought you a mansion in the Cotswolds, you moron.
However, the most enduring and memorable momento we took away from James Cameron's tragedy was the on and off-screen chemistry between Oscar-winners Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, who have long been standing by each other's sides, singing each other's praises and laughing together on the red carpet for nearly 20 years.
Here, we take a look at our favourite Leo and Kate moments over the years that have basically given Jack and Rose the happy ending they deserved.
That time Leo sent emojis to Kate on set
Ahead of her role in the upcoming film The Mountain Between Us, Winslet admitted to E! News her BFF gave her some advice about working in extreme temperatures, following his role as frontiersman Hugh Glass in The Revenant.
'[Leonardo and I] did speak before filming and he did sort of say to me, "Oh my god, you are crazy. It's going to be freezing cold. Do you honestly know what you are setting yourself up for?"' she admitted.
She added: 'I would send him little photos of me saying, 'Thinking of you,' as I am lying in the freezing snow covered ice and he would just send back slightly worried emojis.'
When Leonardo gave Kate away at her wedding to Ned Rocknroll
When Kate Winslet married her third husband Ned RocknRoll during a secret ceremony in New York in 2012, it was rumoured Leonardo gave her away.
When Leo surprised Kate on the red carpet at the 2016 Oscars
In 2016, a then Oscar-nominated Leonardo DiCaprio surprised his Titanic co-star ahead of the awards ceremony, setting our love for Rose and Jack alight yet again.
Leonardo DiCaprio reveals his best kiss
During a 2004 interview with Ophra Winfrey, DiCaprio admitted his best on-screen kiss was most definitely with Winslet.
'There's going to be some mad actresses ... I'm just going to go with Kate Winslet, good old classic,' he said.
When Kate got all emotional at Leonardo finally winning an Oscar
During Leonardo's Oscar acceptance speech, in which he explained the necessity of protecting the planet, the camera panned to an emotional Kate Winslet who cried during her friend's speech.
That moment when Kate gushed about Leo at the 2009 Golden Globes
Kate hugged her best friend before accepting her award for her role in Revolutionary Road and gave a somewhat breathless speech in which she pretty much just embarked on a Leo lovefest.
'Leo, I'm so happy I can't tell you how much I love and how much I've loved you for 13 years. Your performance in this film is nothing short than spectacular. I love you with all my heart, I really do,' she adds.
That time Kate admitted: 'Leo is the love of my life'
During an interview with Pop Sugar while promoting her film Divergent, Kate was posed the question whether she preferred her co-star Theo James or her BFF Leonardo Dicaprio.
You can guess who she picked.
'Leo is my love of my life. How could you possibly ask me that question?' she replied.
When Kate finally said Leo's Jack could've fitted on *that* door
During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel in 2016, Kate admits: 'I think he probably could have fitted on that door.
Rose was so selfish.
That cute moment when Kate and Leo praised each other, non stop
Reuniting for the first time since their roles in Titanic, the pair appeared on The Today Show to promote Revolutionary Road. Kate admitted that the pair have more wrinkles and while her co-star had always been tall, he's a 'man now'.
'Physically, you're not that different. Just a little less puny,' joked Kate.
Leo added: 'She's still as beautiful and radiant as the day I met her'.
'Ever since we met, she's always taken the job, done the research, taken to it to a T and is the ultimate professional.
'She keeps pushing herself to an emotional truth when she's working. That's why I keep saying she's the best,' he gushed.
'He's the best too!' said Kate.
When they walked the red carpet together for the very first time
For the premiere Titantic on 17 December 1998, Leo and Kate shone on the red carpet together. This was prior to knowing James Cameron's film would spend a staggering 15 consecutive weeks at the top of the box-office charts - a record it held until Cameron's Avatar knocked it off the spot in 2009.
The pair then looked positively adorable at the 55th Annual Golden Globe Awards, where they were both nominated for Best Actor and Actress and went as each other's dates.
'We're good buddies,' Leonardo told presenters on the red carpet.
