It was around this time that Kim Kardashian raised eyebrows after she posted a naked selfie of herself to Instagram. The post sparked a Twitter battle with actresses Bette Midler and Chloë Grace Moretz, regarding the reality star's status as a role model to young women.
Weeks later, Kim posted another photograph of herself – topless in a mirror – alongside model Emily Ratajkowski, who herself has come under fire for posting revealing Instagram snaps to her followers.
However, according to the 36-year-old mother-of-two, there was a surprising secret behind the original naked selfie, which she's only just cared to share with the rest of the world.
In an interview with The View yesterday, the beauty mogul revealed she was pregnant with Saint West when she took the snap.
'I was actually pregnant in that photo. I just found out I was pregnant and so I had to dye my hair back. I thought, "You know what this is my one last shot of a good photo before my body is done," so I took a pic,' she explained.
Addressing the controversy surrounding the picture, Kanye West's wife replied: '[I] truly was baffled when people still cared… They have seen me naked 500 times.'
I mean, she has a point.
