Long gone are the days of Veganism being intrinsically linked to stale granola and itchy hemp clogs (clogs made out of hemp, what?). Being a vegan is sexy now, didn't you get the memo?

By pieing off meat pies and the like, plenty of those in upper-echelons of Hollywood and beyond have been telling (boasting) of the benefits of going cruelty-free.

Natalie Portman says it helps her skin, since dairy makes her break out and Arianna Grande states that it has made her and all-around happier person.

Another benefit to trying to save the planet one tofu scramble at a time is that it also means you're pretty damn sexy.

PETA's annual Sexiest Vegan Celebrities award has so far gone to the likes of Natalie Portman, Miley Cyrus, Arianna Grande, Kristen Wiig and more, though, this year, it looks like the animal rights group couldn't choose just one.

In fact, they named 2017 as the Year of the Vegan Wonder Woman, with not one, but three leading ladies.

First up is our favourite 36 year-old dancer Jenna Dewan Tatum, who upkeeps that incredible bod by writhing around on the floor and eating a plant-based diet.

The actress has previously posed for the animal activists in their 'leave wildlife out of your wardrobe' campaign, which saw her posing naked, save for some snake body paint.

Tatum even apparently owns a farm which she fills with rescue animals.

Though the star doesn't want to push her agenda on others, she would rather encourage people to make their own small changes, rather than bully people into full-on Veganism. She told the LA Times in an interview that her husband, Channing Tatum, is not a vegan,

My daughter is a vegetarian, and my husband tried to become vegan, but it didn't work out for him. And that was when I realised not everyone is the same and the more you try to force someone to be a certain way, the more they fight against it. I learned to have a certain grace about it. And people learn what works for them. But I certainly encourage veganism, not just for our health, but for the environment and also for the ethical and moral reasons.

Sharing Jenna's spot is Orange Is The New Black actress Ruby Rose.

Over the last few years Ruby Rose has been on a public path to full Veganism.

In 2013 she explained she was struggling to go full vegan due to hyperthyroidism (an over active thyroid) , then in 2016 she explained she was still hanging onto wearing leather.

Finally this year it looks like she's made the leap, explaining the reason she's been looking so good is because she's now gone full Vegan (well, in addition to being sober).

In March she called on her Twitter followers to go vegan to fight Trump.

And it looks likes he's made the sartorial switch she was waiting for.

Finally, the last Vegan babe is actress called Maggie Q, who stars in Designated Survivor.

The 38 year-old has also previously posed for PETA, and has protested with the group.

Other runners up in the fight to be 2017's sexiest vegan were Michelle Pfeiffer and Joaquin Phoenix.

Now, somebody get me a Quorn sausage.
