JK Rowling, aka author, millionaire, philanthropist and the most acerbic tongue of Twitter, loves to tease us, the doting public.

Remember when she wrote a whole extra book under a new pen name just to confuse us?

'Robert Galbraith,' you cheeky minx.

Well, whilst promoting her children's charity, Lumos (you may or may not know JK Rowling slipped from being a billionaire to a mere millionaire because of her charitable giving), JK revealed that there is, in fact, a not-so lost manuscript of hers that may never be published.

And it's hanging in her wardrobe…

Told you she was mysterious af.

Whilst in a filmed interview with CNN, the interviewer, Christiane Amanpour, asked about an alleged children's politically-charged story that JK is said to have written.

JK confirmed that there was a story, though it's not 'party political'.

After a second of deciding whether to tell us the goss, JK spills all, saying:

I will tell you this. On my 50th -- the theme of my 50th birthday, which I held at Halloween, even though that's not really my birthday, was come as your own private nightmare. And I went as a lost manuscript. And I wrote over a dress most of that book. So that book, I don't know whether it will ever be published, but it's actually hanging in a wardrobe currently.

Well, it's funny you tell us this, Rowling, because you know what? It's our personal nightmare too, that you have a finished blimmin' story and you're not sharing it with us. Selfish, that's what you are, just selfish.

She goes on in the interview to discuss her original pen name and how it came to be, but we were too annoyed about the lost manuscript to listen tbh.
