We all know Tinseltown likes going under the knife: plumping, tweaking and injecting its A-listers with every morsel of botox, silicone and collagen to reverse ageing and gravity.

Even the late comedian Joan Rivers once admitted: 'I've had so much plastic surgery, when I die, they will donate my body to Tupperware.'

And the latest celebrity to fall 'victim' to plastic (ok, wax) surgery is reality star Kylie Jenner, who just unveiled her newly-created Madame Tussauds wax figure in Hollywood.

For a minute, we thought Kylie had met a real doppelganger - someone who'd had a lot of work done to look like the reality star.

But yesterday, the 19-year-old beauty mogul revealed that she'd actually met her new waxwork model, sculpted and dressed in the star's custom silver, fringe-beaded Balmain dress to resemble her Met Gala 2016 look.

She explained how she played the ultimate prank on her family, by posting a pic of the pair together.

'I made her FaceTime my whole family … fooled everyone,' she explained in a post of her 'twin' on Instagram.

'My wax figure is here. This is so creepy,' Jenner said in a video shared on Snapchat.

'I donated the actual dress I wore to the Met so you can come see it,' she explained in another short clip.

At the Manus x Machina-themed party in May 2016, the youngest Jenner star made her Met Ball debut wearing the Balmain gown, and accessorised the look with a blunt black bob.

According to People, Jenner's wax figure is valued at a whopping £268,000.

Well, plastic surgery doesn't come cheap, does it?
