Ever wondered how Saturday Night Live stars Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Kristen Wigg successfully tackle some of the most challenging and downright hilarious impressions of modern-day celebrities such as Beyoncé, Sean Spicer, and Taylor Swift?
Well, according to SNL veteran and Bridesmaids star Maya Rudolph, it's much easier than you think.
As long as you have a little imagination, that is.
In an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Rudolph revealed the secret behind nailing Ivanka Trump's voice.
'She's always talking like she works in a lingerie store, a little bit,' she revealed.
Doing her best impression of the president's assistant, Maya donned a side smile and put on her best Ivanka voice to say: 'Like, if you want to get the matching panties, you can get them, but they're $14.95.'
She also had some advice for Ivanka: 'Don't quote stuff [mimic quotation marks around phrases] that's real because it makes you look really stupid.'
The comedic actress also explained how she nabbed a spot on the hilarious A-list sketch show.
When asked in her interview why she thought she deserved a role on the hit NBC late-night comedy showcase, Maya said: 'Because I like wearing wigs.'
If only we could use that line in other job interviews.
