The singers have been friends since their Barney And Friends days, so it's pretty darn lovely to see Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato back together again for a good cause.

Well, in the same room at least.

Gomez will return to host the WE Day - an event which addresses social issues around the world - for the second year in a row and is bringing Lovato with her.

'I am so happy to be hosting WE Day again,' says Gomez in a new teaser clip. 'This show's about inspiration and positive ideas for change. So, if you wanna roll up your sleeves and make a difference, you've come to the right place.'

We don't actually see them perform together, but both singers take to the stage to speak about issues important to them.

The one-hour special will performances, speeches, celebrity appearances and in-depth looks at issues such as equality, poverty, homelessness, inner city violence, social activism and more.

'We all know what it feels like to be underestimated. We all know what it feels like to be judged. But what I want everyone to feel today is powerful,' Lovato said to thousands of screaming teens.

'When we take care of each other, we build each other up. Because together we have the power,' says Lovato, who later duets with The Muppets' Animal on the drums.

Along with Gomez and Lovato, special guests include Alessia Cara, Oprah Winfrey, Alicia Keys, Laverne Cox, The Muppets and many more.
