There are some great analogies out there about sexual assault.

The famous 'tea consent' video stormed the internet for it's tongue-in-cheek accuracy about a very serious problem.

Simplifying issues around consent with a little humour proved very successful back in 2015, with the video amassing over four million views.

Today though, a new and humorous simplification of consent is storming the web.

Bree Wiseman is a 22 year-old pastry chef and manager from Tennessee who was sitting at home one night, with her dog when she had a thought.

She snapped a photo and posted it on Facebook with the caption:

To the people that say women get raped due to the way they are dressed. This is my dog. His favourite food is steak. He is eye level with my plate. He won't get any closer because I told him no. If a dog is better behaved than you are, you need to reevaluate your life. Feel free to share, my dog is adorable.

By breaking down the complexities surrounding victim blaming she clearly points out how if animals know 'no' means 'no', then why can't humans?

The post got 164k reactions, as well as almost 300k shares and almost 5k comments.

People loved the clear message exposing the absurdity of victim blaming.

Wiseman spoke to HuffPost about the viral hit, and about how she was moved to make the statement due to her own experience with sexual assault.

She told the magazine, '"The only person to blame in a rape offence is the rapist," she said. "It was their decision to rape. People shouldn't have to worry about what they chose to wear for fear of rape. I want people to see that this is a problem, and to stand together against victim-shaming.

Who knew we could learn so much from some good dog training?
