Earlier this week, Kendall Jenner faced the wrath of social media after a bartender posted a photo of what they claimed to be the model's receipt to Instagram, revealing that $24 that had been charged to her card, but that the 21-year-old model failed to give a tip.
The Brooklyn bar Baby's All Right employee captioned the Instagram photo (which has since been deleted from the bar's account) of the receipt with the caption: 'Don't forget to tip your bartender :)' and provoked a social media to send a barrage of abuse at Kendall, who called the reality star was 'cheap'.
'100% FACT. I was a bartender and we lived off of tips. Come on now,' wrote one user, while others pointed out that it was wrong for the bartender to post the image, claiming 'whoever posted this should get fired it's unprofessional'.
In response of the bartender's claim that she failed to leave gratuity, Kendall fired back on Twitter writing: 'Damn, I guess next time we won't tip in cash.'
The Keeping Up With The Kardashian star's tweet came in response to a message posted by a fan of the Victoria's Secret model to Twitter, which read: 'I love @KendallJenner I'm sure there's more to this story. Everyone's so quick to judge cause she's part of the Kardashians.'
Perhaps this will serve as a reminder to society not to judge so quickly when presented with only half the facts and jump to the worst conclusions about young celebrities solely because of their fame and wealth.
