For most people, a trip to Blockbuster as a kid involved spending hours deliberating between the likes of 10 Things I Hate About You or Bring It On, salted or sweet popcorn, and – if you looked old enough – an attempt at making out you were definitely over 15-years-old.

Sadly, with the arrival of on demand film and television services such as BBC iPlayer, Netflix and *cough* illegal downloads, our beloved high street video rental shop was cast aside – until now, that is.

Blockbuster is back, and from the looks of it, it wants revenge for all those times you failed to rewind the tape and post your returns in the box two days late.

Earlier this year, CBS reported that only 12 Blockbusters remain in the world, nine in Alaska and three in Texas. However, there's now a Twitter account named 'The Last Blockbuster' claiming to operate from one of the last remaining stores.

Located between 3rd and Main in the Oak Lawn Shopping Centre (which we're not too sure is a real place but we're going with it), the account is unleashing its fury at being film's forgotten younger brother and it's blummin' hilarious:
