Anyone who has ever attempted to build Ikea furniture on a Saturday afternoon and has lost the Allen key, finds they're missing three screws and implements a no-speaking policy with their other half after almost taking their finger off with a kitchen knife will know that DIY is not for the faint hearted.
So, spare a thought for father-of-four David Beckham who is currently spending his summer building a miniature Disney house for his four-year-old daughter Harper.
Last night, the former footballer posted a photograph of himself to Instagram, surrounded by plastic parts of a Lego Disney castle and looking deep in thought as he analysed the building instructions.
He captioned the adorable snap: 'Page 1 of the Disney castle , 4000 pieces 490 pages of instructions I look confused but I'm so excited.'
To all the Mums and Dads out there who spend the majority of Christmases building lego towers, train sets, and plastic kitchen sets for their children, be safe in the knowledge that even multi-millionaires like David Beckham has to build a Disney castle once in a while.
David's attempt at building his daughter a castle comes weeks after the famous child spent her birthday with real-life princess, Princess Beatrice, at Buckingham Palace with friends.
Beckham posted the snap two days after taking his youngest three children out of dinner in Los Angeles, where the former athlete and son Cruz sported matching hats.
David Beckham is nailing parenthood right now.
