There are certain love stories that will survive the ages, like Romeo and Juliet or Chris and Kem.

And, naturally, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner's friendship is up their with the greats.

Playing the Stark sisters on Game Of Thrones, we recently saw them *SPOILER ALERT* reunite after years apart.

At 20 and 21 years respectively, the pair met back when the show was cast in 2009.

Turner was just 13, and Williams only12, when Sophie called Maisie 'cute', and the pair have been friends ever since.

And though everyday is clearly a joyful one for the mischievous pair, one day in particular holds a special place in their hearts - 7th August.

Both actresses commemorated the date on their respective Instagram accounts, with Maisie posting a slideshow of the duo with the caption 'Happy 7th August'.

Whilst Sophie posted a snap of the two wearing what look like brownie outfits ('I promise that I will do my best' classic memories) with the caption, 'Happy 7th August my soulm8'

But what is the significance of this date?

Well, get your tissues out, because it's the date the young actresses were both told they were cast as Arya and Sansa Stark, leading to not only the biggest career opportunity of their lives, but also each other.

Can we get an, 'awwwwwww'?

Both women celebrate this day annually, and even got an '07.08.09' (the full date) tattoo to commemorate it.

And now we know the date, we can celebrate it too. Only 12 months to prepare to the ultimate BFF/ GOT themed party people, chop chop!
