Months after Mike Tindall let slip he was planning to ask Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle for a cameo in Suits, Zara Phillips' husband has revealed he thinks the 36-year-old actress will be 'absolutely fine' adapting to the 'nerve-wracking' Royal life, if she marries the prince.

The former ex-England rugby player and father of the Queen's great-granddaughter Mia, told the Sunday People that dating a royal 'comes with a lot of history and the family that it is. It's obviously nerve-racking'.

Speaking of Meghan, he added: 'She has been under enough scrutiny and pressure in her day-to-day life so I'm sure she will get through it. She will be fine.

'As long as they are both happy that's all you can ask for. I'm sure she'll do absolutely fine,' he admitted.

Tindall's comments come amid speculation Prince Harry has whisked the Toronto-based gal off to Botswana, Africa for a safari trip, following her 36th birthday in London, UK.

Harry's choice of holiday destination has raised eyebrows among royal fans given that his brother, Prince William, proposed to Kate Middleton during a safari getaway to Kenya in 2010.

During an interview with CNN, the father-of-two explained why he wanted the location for the proposal to'mean something', and why that time and Kenya seemed to be the perfect opportunity.

'I regularly daydream. Africa is definitely one of the places I go to. It does completely settle me down. [Kate] understands what it means to me being in Africa, and my love of conservation,' he said.

We have no doubt Meghan will take the fame and pressures of dating a royal in her stride if Prince Harry does decide to pop the question.
