During a pretty low-key night in on Saturday, I sat down with a friend to watch the first season of Gossip Girl (a decade in and it's the gift that keeps on giving) but couldn't help but notice one serious flaw in the making of the hit television series.

There was 16-year-old Serena van der Woodsen sitting alongside Blair Waldorf at the bar of Chuck Bass' Palace Hotel sipping Martinis (extra olives, obviously) and both proceeded to get absolutely sozzled.

As we all know, the drinking age in the US is 21-years-old. And as anyone who's ever tried to order a cocktail underage will most certainly know, drinking as a minor was a serious no-go.

So, imagine our shock when we heard Kylie Jenner recently admitted she's never touched a drop of alcohol in her life. Like, ever.

In an on-camera interview with BuzzFeed, posted Friday, the Keeping With the Kardashians star admitted she's looking forward to turning 21-years-old for one reason in particular.

'I feel like that's fun. You know, I've never had a drink before so I just wanna know what it's like,' she admitted.

Umm, okay. Not one little tipple, even at New Years?

While we're slightly dubious at the 20-year-old's recent revelation, we must admit, the beauty mogul has been consistent when it comes to shutting down rumours of her drinking underage.

In 2013, both her and Kylie caused controversy when they were spotted partying at an over-21 club at Vignette Lounge in West Hollywood.

Their mother, Kris Jenner, later told E! News: 'The girls don't have fake IDs and they don't drink.'

Following rumours of the pair drinking, Kylie took to Twitter to announce:

I'm sorry to disappoint, but Kendall & I will not grow up to be let downs. I know that's what some people would unfortunately like to see...but I'm not going to sit around and let grown adults create untrue stories about me underage drinking & partying every night with a fake I.D.

Kylie's no-drink policy echoes that of her older sister Kim Kardashian who is teetotal.

'Kimberly does not drink alcohol whatsoever. Pregnant or not, she's just never been into it,' Khloe Kardashian once revealed to ELLE about the family's alcohol stance.

Just keep doing you, Kylie.
