So, imagine how happy 22-year-old Sofia Solares must feel right now after the internet caught on to how much she looks like the 25-year-old singer.

Whether it's posing for a mirror selfie or a candid holiday snap in the pool, the Mexican Instagram star has been inundated with comments about how much she looks like the 'Fetish' singer.
'Selena Gomez Double bro,' one commenter wrote. Another added: 'Wtf look at this girls profile and tell me she isn't Selena'.
If that wasn't enough, Selena Gomez is just one of 37 people Solares follows on Twitter, so we're already coming up with conspiracy theories as to whether this is a real-life Parent Trap scenario.
Speaking to E! News (original quotes in Spanish), the look-alike said: 'I love Selena Gomez and I declare myself a fan of her and of course it would be a dream to know that she knows of my existence and will devote a few seconds to write me something!'
'I would cry with happiness,' she added.
However, while fans are quick to point out the uncanny resemblance between the pair, Solares is keen to maintain her own identity.
'I always try to be myself. I say it's okay to look like her, but I do not want to lose myself for trying to be someone I'm not,' she said.
