On Monday, Barack and Michelle Obama were spotted helping their 19-year-old daughter move into an on-campus residence, a day before her classmates arrived to start the academic year on Wednesday August 30.

She was later spotted exploring the Cambridge, Massachusetts area with a group of friends, dressed in a black slip dress over an Alexander Wang graphic tee and white trainers.

Earlier this year, it was reported actress and activist Yara Shahidi would be joining Malia at Harvard this year, before it was revealed she has been forced to postpone her freshman year for again to shoot a spinoff of ABC's Black-ish called Adult-ish.

Malia follows in the footsteps of Barack and Michelle, who both graduated from Harvard Law School in 1988 and 1993, respectively.

Now, it's Malia's time to shine.

Good luck!
