Earlier this month, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt announced they were parting ways after eight year of marriage, which made us all question whether love truly is dead.

However, according to Life & Style magazine, sources reveal the pair have started couples therapy to fix their relationship.

A source revealed: 'It's the first time they've ever been in counselling together and it only happened after they split.

'They have committed to it. They are trying to keep the pressure low by doing it out of the spotlight, but there is still a lot of love between them,' they added.

It's yet to be confirmed from the pair's representatives whether a reconciliation between the Guardians Of The Galaxy and Scary Movie actress is on the cards, but Faris Mom co-star Allison Janney recently revealed the 40-year-old actress was in good spirits on the set of their CBS show.

In an interview with E! News, Janney said of Faris: 'She just is a trooper.

'She comes to work with a smile on her face. She's a professional. I love her to death.

'Her private life she keeps pretty much to herself. She comes to work and gets the job done…She's got a big smile on her face and she's getting through it,' she added.

The pair have remained quiet since announcing their split on Facebook, with Pratt making his first appearance since the announcement at the Teen Choice Awards last week and Faris recently thanking her fans for their support on her podcast, Anna Faris is Unqualified.

'Hey, dear listeners: I just want to thank you all so much for all the love I've been receiving, and I truly love you,' she said.

Whether they stay together or split for good, we just want Faris and Pratt to find happiness.
