In the weeks to come, Prince William and Kate Middleton will no doubt be starting the preparations to help their son Prince George settle into school next month.

And if there's anything like our parents, there'll be the trip to George at Asda for a three-pack of white shirts, a new pencil case, a pair of black shiny brogues from Clarks and the compulsory 'back to school' haircut.

However, from the sounds of it the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might be having concerns when it comes to the education of their eldest child after his private day school has been described as 'busy' and 'slightly chaotic' in a review by The Good Schools Guide.

Next month, the four-year-old will begin his full-time education in one of three reception classes at Thomas's Battersea.

The school, where fees cost from £17,604 a year, was reviewed by the Guide as: 'A big, busy, slightly chaotic school for cosmopolitan parents who want their children to have the best English education money can buy. That is what they want and, to a large degree, that is what they get.'

However, it also added there were 'plenty of opportunities for pupils to excel but withdrawn types might find it all somewhat overwhelming'.

Now, having spotted Prince George wearing a bathrobe to greet the former president of the US Barack Obama to his home, squishing his face against a glass window at Buckingham Palace and making faces on the palace's balcony, we have a feeling the little tyke won't be 'withdrawn' when it comes to mingling with his classmates.

According to the guide, the school has 560 boys and girls aged from four to 13, with around 20 in each class, with 19 languages spoken in the homes of pupils.

It also boasts a science laboratory and gym, with art, ballet, drama, ICT, French, music and physical education taught by specialist teachers.

The Telegraph reports Prince George will wear a new uniform bought from John Lewis, which includes a navy v-neck pullover, matching Bermuda-style school shorts, long red socks and black shoes. He'll also sport a red art smock and a sports kit including swim hat and a pair of black ballet shoes.

We can't wait to see him on his first day of school.
