Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken openly and honestly about her former high-profile relationships, giving a special mention to ex-fiancé Brad Pitt.

The 44-year-old actress was asked on Girlboss Radio whether she had ever 'f**ked up a relationship and had to fix it', to which she replied: 'Oh my God. I've f*cked up so many relationships, so many'.

The Iron Man star admitted that she is at her 'most vulnerable' and 'f**ked up' when she is in a romantic relationship, continuing: 'I'm actually a pretty good friend and a good sister and a daughter and a mother but I am at my potentially most vulnerable and f*cked up in the romantic slice of the pie.

'So it's taken me a lot of work to get to the place where I have a good romantic relationship.'

Giving a shout out to Pitt, the Goop founder confessed: 'So Brad Pitt, if you're listening. I f*cked that up, Brad.'

The former Hollywood couple dated between 1995 and 1997 after meeting on the set of thriller Se7en. Pitt went on to propose in 1996, but the pair split the following year.

Speaking about dating Pitt previously, Paltrow told Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show: 'I definitely fell in love with him. He was so gorgeous and sweet. I mean, he was Brad Pitt!

'I wasn't ready, and he was too good for me,' she added.

Paltrow also famously dated Ben Affleck from 1997 to 2000, and reflecting on their relationship, she added: 'He was not in a good place in his life to have a girlfriend.'

After splitting with Chris Martin after 10 years of marriage in 2014, Paltrow is now in a relationship with Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk.
