But, sadly for the rapper/producer, it appears his birthday efforts have now been trumped by Queen Bey's friends and family who have recreated one of her most iconic looks from the music video for her hit single, 'Formation'.
Last night, a stream of photos were shared by the Beylite Instagram account with the message #HappyBirthdayBeyonce featuring the mother-of-three's nearest and dearest sporting oversized black hats, long braids, black off-the-shoulder tops and a neck embellished with jewels.
The women included Blue Ivy Carter, Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles Lawson, former Destiny's Child stars Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, former first lady Michelle Obama, tennis star Serena Williams (who just became a new mum over the weekend), mother-in-law Gloria Carter, sister Bianca Lawson, and songwriter Angie Beyince.
