Prepare to read the most Burning Man story in the history of Burning Man Festival.

Described as a 'temporary metropolis dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance' on its website, thousands of people - including the likes of Cara Delevingne and Alessandra Ambrosio - gather each year in Nevada's Black Rock Desert to let loose surrounded by music and art.

Ecstatic dance workshops, leather hip bags, feathers, and glitter are the norm. As Kevin KoChen, the festival's co-producer, recently told the Guardian the aim of the festival is to 'create a sense of playfulness, of awe and wonder' and, it's safe to say, Burning Man is pretty 'out there' when it comes to festivals.

So, this might explain why Miki Agrawal, controversial co-founder of period-underwear brand Thinx, decided the festival would be the perfect place to breast-pump and give out her milk to festivalgoers to cure a hangover and 'make lattes'.

The new mother admits she breast-pumped every three hours and handed out bottles of her milk in order to raise awareness of the duties of parenthood.

In a post to Instagram last night, Agrawal uploaded a photograph of herself with her breast pumps, including several photos and videos of herself giving out her milk to friends.

She captioned the post: 'I pumped my breasts every three hours at @burningman and gave away most of my milk. Some people downed a whole four ounces hoping for a hangover cure. Some wanted it for their coffee to make lattes. So many were excited and curious to try it. I drank some too when I ran out of water, it tastes like sweet coconut milk!

'So many people told me that they had no idea that I had to keep pumping every three hours because they didn't know that breasts would become engorged and super painful if they were not pumped - nature's way of keeping mama and baby working together.

I drank some too when I ran out of water, it tastes like sweet coconut milk!

'It made me realize that most people (including me before I had Hiro) know very little about motherhood and birth and post-birth and that this needs to be mandatory learning for all humans. Every human has been birthed and raised somehow and yet even the smartest people have no idea what this process looks like.

'Nobody learns how to become a parent, let alone a good one. Time to change this! Great parenting can change the world! More conversations about this soon! #burningman #burningman2017'

I mean, whatever floats your boat, right?
