Kendall Jenner was awarded with Daily Front Row's Fashion Icon of the Decade Award last Friday, and whilst some have criticised the choice, due to Jenner's comparatively brief career, what we now know is that her career was written in the stars.

Well, maybe not the stars, but in a letter written by 14 year-old Jenner.

At the mature age of 21, Kendall sat down on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show before the awards ceremony on Friday.

After a quick round of 'Pup Quiz,' Jenner sat down with the host discuss her career. Starting off at the ripe-old age of ten, ever-the-hard-worker Jenner was a dog-walker in the local area of Calabasas.

This was also around the time her family got their infamous TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians which 10 year-old Jenner was too homework and friend obsessed to really care about.

By the time she was 14 and on the fifth season of the hit show, Jenner's passions had changed somewhat, from sports, all the way to modelling.

Fallon somehow managed to wrangle a letter Jenner wrote herself all those years ago, as well as getting the famously tight-lipped model to read it out.

Not only is the letter hilarious, but also totally prophetic, since she explains how she wants to be an internationally acclaimed model.

The letter read:

Dear me, I am on my freshmen retreat right now and it is really boring. But I met new people, so I guess that's good. I am modelling right now and I love it. I am also on a show called Keeping Up With the Kardashians and we are filming season 5. Soon, we will be filming season 6. My goal in life is to become a big-time model and travel to really amazing places. I really hope it happens... I'm 14 years old. Just thought I would say that lol. And I'm really excited to read this in the future.

Unfortunately, our 14 year-old selves might have had similar dreams, but alas, the closest we will get to modelling is forcing our friends to take those much-needed outfit shots for Instagram...
