In May, Selena Gomez reportedly purchased a £1.7 million four-bedroom house in LA's Studio City, which features four bathrooms, a library, living room, gourmet kitchen, two fireplaces, a great room with vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors, a swimming pool and 'formal gardens'.

Meanwhile, her boyfriend The Weeknd splashed the cash (£13.8 million, to be precise) on an abode in the Hidden Hills, just a 30 minutes' drive from the 'Fetish' singer's new pad.

And while we might have been slightly disappointed to hear the duo weren't moving in together at the time, we must admit, we were quite relieved the pair were taking their new romance slowly and celebrating their independence.

However, four months after going public with their relationship at the 2017 Met Gala, it appears the couple have now decided to take the next important step in their union.

As you may have noticed, the Texas-born star and her Canadian beau have been spending an generous amount of time together in New York City recently, with numerous date nights and appearances during NYFW.

Entertainment Tonight reports the two might are set on making the Big Apple home - for now, at least - and have temporarily moved in together in 'a low-rise luxury building in the heart of the [Greenwich] Village', according to a source.

The source added the move-in is a 'big deal' for Gomez but has come at the perfect time as she's just started shooting Woody Allen's latest film alongside Jude Law and Elle Fanning.

And it sounds like no expense has been spared when it came to finding the perfect love nest for the pair, as the rental reportedly has 11.6 foot high ceilings, Juliette glass balconies, and English kitchens. ET reports similar apartments in the building have rented for £12,000 a month or more.

This isn't the first time Gomez has moved in with a boyfriend, however.

In 2014, the singer's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber revealed the two had moved in together in 2012.

'I moved in with my girlfriend when I was 18,' the crooner told Complex.

'Started my own life with her. It was a marriage kind of thing. Living with a girl, it was just too much at that age. But we were so in love. Nothing else mattered. We were all about each other,' he added.

Selena, if you need anyone to house sit your Los Angeles home in the meantime, you know where we are.
