Busy Philipps celebrated Michelle Williams' birthday by chatting about their time on the hit 90s show, and we couldn't be happier.

Long before the days of Gossip Girls' Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf, The OC's Marissa Cooper and Ryan Atwood, and Insecure's Issa Dee and Lawrence, there was a time when all 90s teen conversations about television revolved around the love triangle between Dawson, Joey, and Pacey on Dawson's Creek.

However, what fans really should have been focussed on was the off-screen love triumph between the show's two biggest stars, Michelle Williams and Busy Philipps, who have gone onto cement one of the strongest friendships in Hollywood history.

Last year, Williams appeared with Philipps several times on the red carpet for the promotion of her Oscar-winning film Manchester by the Sea and told People: 'I'm so in love with her. She's proof that the love of your life does not have to be a man! That's the love of my life right there.'

So, in honour of William's birthday, the best friends decided it would be the perfect time to pop on a bit of Frank Ocean and sit down on a porch in Massachusetts to discuss all the men they kissed during their time filming Dawson's Creek.

While Phillips was disappointed at only being able to kiss Pacey (Joshua Jackson) at the time of filming, Williams reveals her character Jen Lindley kissed Pacey and Dawson (James Van Der Beek).

'I also had a threesome and I had Michael Pitt,' Williams added, much to Philipp's shock.

Unfortunately for Phillips, soon after her Dawson's Creek nostalgic moment with Williams, she ended up in hospital with 'crazy excruciating pain' from an ovarian torsion.

She later took to Instagram to explain what had happened and warned her fans never to ignore medical symptoms.

'Don't be a hero, go to the doctor,' she wrote.

While Philipps' injury might have cut her reunion with Williams short, we're sure it won't be long until we see this duo back on top BFF form again.

Get well soon, Busy!
