While promoting her clothing line, actress Eva Mendez has been out and about giving us much-wanted information on the Gosling-Mendez family set-up.

Ryan Gosling and Mendez were first seen together back in 2011 after filming The Place Beyond The Pines together.

Six years and two babies later, the pair are notoriously low-key and beautiful as ever.

We've only gotten a few backstage glimpses of the Gosling-Mendes union, namely every time 36-year-old Gosling wins and award and thanks his 'lady' (swoon), and recently, when Mendes explained how she is bringing up three year-old Esmerelda and one year-old Amada as bi-lingual.

She said that her girls spend a lot of time with her own Cuban parents, meaning they speak, 'Spanglish' right now.

For the last three years Mendes has largely been a stay-at-home mum, working part-time on her clothing line whilst Gosling has continued acting.

He famously thanked her in his Oscar speech (for his role in La La Land) saying:

While I was singing and dancing and having one of the best experiences I have ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer. If she hadn't have taken all of that on so that I could have this experience, it would surely be someone else up here other than me.

Now, it looks like Mendes is heading back into the working world. And however much she understands that she needs to be herself to look after her two little ones, she can't help but feel that little bit of mum guilt.

She told E! News that, 'Oh my God, nobody warns you about the guilt that you feel when you do work!'

She was asked how she balanced it all and she responded, 'I don't know how I find balance, because I think it is like a day to day kind of struggle, you know?'

It looks like things are kept very real over at the Gosling-Mendes household.
