Every man and woman with a love of Channing Tatum, tight shorts and the art of dance will remember that moment when the actor/dancer took to the stage in his hit 2012 film Magic Mike and made every cinema-goer hot under the collar.

Well, take that feeling, and turn it up a notch because Channing Tatum and James Corden have just shown us what it truly means to be 'Magic Mike' in 2017 and, let me tell you, it's beautiful.

During a segment for his show The Late Late Show, Corden auditioned for Tatum's Las Vegas Show, 'Magic Mike Live', and showed off his flexibility, agility and determination to prove he has what it takes to be a dancer.

'I'm sorry man, but I don't know if you're exactly Magic Mike material, if you will,' Tatum told Corden, as the host walked into the audition room, explaining that all his dancers need abs.

'I've got stamina; I've clearly got sexiness; and I've got an ab,' Corden replied.

The actor-turned-presenter then sweet-talked the Hollywood star into giving him a chance to show off his dancing skills, before the pair embarked on a rigorous training regime that saw Corden ripple, twist and do the worm, much to Tatum's shock.

Ahead of the live show, Tatum gave Corden some words of encouragement.

'We're going to go out there and make every single one of these screaming, horny, beautifully drunk women—we're going to give them the night of their life,' he said, before gifting him his very own diamante-encrusted 'Magic James' shorts.

Taking to the stage, Corden whips out his best moves to a routine choreographed to 50 Cent's 'Candy Shop', successfully doing the worm, removing his trousers, and slamming the floor with his fist.

In the end, Corden realised he no longer needs the support of his fellow dancers and goes solo with his dance moves and let's just say, Channing was not a happy bunny.
