At least two people have been killed and 24 others wounded in a mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert in the early hours of this morning.

The BBC reports a gunman opened fire at an open-air country music festival at the Mandalay Bay Hotel on the city's strip, forcing hundreds of people to flee the scene.

Witnesses have they saw multiple victims as they escaped the gunfire raining down on the concert venue, according to Associated Press.
