Yesterday morning, the world bore witness to a horrific mass shooting which claimed the lives of 59 people and saw another 527 injured at a Las Vegas concert.
In the hours to follow, thousands of people around the world took to social media to pay tribute to the fallen and send their prayers to victims and families.
Now, celebrities and politicians are coming out on Twitter and Instagram to demand better gun control laws in the wake of the tragedy.
Newsweek reported the US has the most firearms per capita in the world (88.8 guns for every 100 people), gun violence has become the third most common cause of death for children in America, and there is a mass shooting almost every day in America.
End the violence, now.
