Despite first making waves in Hollywood with their adorable appearances on the set of Barney as child stars, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato's friendship has taken its fair share of knocks over the years.
From Lovato unfollowing the 25-year-old 'Fetish' singer on Twitter in 2014, to her admitting on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she'd grown apart from Gomez, it would appear the Skyscraper singer had closed the book on the pair's friendship for good.
However, fast forward three years and it looks like 'Delena' is back on top form, if their latest Instagram interactions are anything to go by.
Days after appearing together at the One Voice: Somos Live! telethon over the weekend, Gomez has taken to Instagram to congratulate the singer on her new YouTube documentary Simply Complicated.
'Demi. This was beautiful,' Gomez wrote on one of Lovato's posts.
'I'm so happy for you. You always continue to [be] bold and real. I wish more people were like you. Love you.'
Adorable or what?
The loving messages comes months after Lovato complimented Gomez on her new song 'Fetish' on Twitter.
Gomez's display of affection comes days after she posted an empowering message to her four-year-old sister Gracie about strength and beauty.
Accompanying a black-and-white video of the pair playing together, Gomez captioned the clip: 'I will forever let my sister know she is strong, bold and beautiful. She will be raised to know her voice matters. She is going to understand the importance behind being a leader and inspire others by her truth.'
Can you feel the love right now?
