From posting live Instagram videos of her eating burgers and chips while on the set of a photoshoot in Seoul, to throwback pictures of her horse riding as a child, you'd be forgiven for thinking Bella Hadid loves nothing more than sharing snapshots of her life to her 15.2 million Instagram followers.

However, according to the 21-year-old beauty she actually doesn't enjoy using the social media platform.

'I would really rather be off social media than on it,' she recently told W magazine.

'Especially these days; it makes me so crazy. When I take a couple days off social media it makes me so happy.

'In fact, I recently made this decision consciously, it just like sparked, that I no longer check my phone when I wake up. I think that's why sometimes you get off to a bad start in the morning, when you start your day with that energy.

'Like who wants to turn on their phone at 7 a.m. or whatever and see something negative about themselves?'

We hear you, Bella.

The face of Dior Beauty's revelation about her Instagram insecurities comes weeks after she opened up about learning to be less trusting when it comes to sharing her life online.

'Now I have taken a step back. So, I post things that are personal, but not too personal, things that still have that kind of look into my life ... but I guess I should hold off,' she told the Guardian.

Just keep doing you, Bella.
